- How Far is Villa Sunrise from the Airport ?
Villa Sunrise is a very scenic three hour drive from the Denpassar International Airport. The road winds through villages, passing temples, markets and volcanos on the way.
- Where Can I get Cash ?
Most people use the cash machines at the airport before they leave for Villa Sunrise, since there are no ATM's in our village of Tejakula.
- What Do I Do for Food ?
A wonderful Balinese breakfast of eggs, cheese, toast, french toast, crepes, fresh fruit, smoothies, coffee, tea etc is included in the daily rate and is prepared by our housekeeper Made (pronounced Ma Day)Other meals can be purchased at Gaia-Oasis (the resort next door to us), at restaurants in neighboring villages. You are also welcome to self-cater if that's something you're interested in doing since we have full kitchen amenities.
- How Do I Get Around ?
We do not recommend renting a car since driving is on the left side of the road, roads are small and poorly signed and if there is an accident, you will be thought to be at fault. Instead, relax with our driver Nyoman who speak English well and can take you anywhere on the island in his air-conditioned mini-van for a small fee.
- How Far is Villa Sunrise From the Ocean?
We are about 40 ft from the ocean, and it can be seen from most of the rooms in the Villa.
- What Language is Spoken?
Most people speak both Bahasa Indonesian and Balinese. However, English is used extensively for tourism. Some people will also speak French, German or Japanese.
